It’s St. Paddy’s Day! It’s springtime (I think) and things are turning green everywhere you look!

If you listen carefully, you can hear the birds chirping, the wind blowing softly across the moors, and the sweet Irish brogue and ear-splitting screams of Theresa Cassidy, aka Siryn. Originally a villain, raised by her criminal uncle Black Tom Cassidy, Siryn first appeared in Spider-Woman #37 in April 1981, making her just slightly older than me, though I know her better from her X-Force days in the early 90s. Eventually, she learns that her father is Sean Cassidy (aka Banshee) and I wonder how they ever pieced that one together.

“You’ve got screaming powers? I’ve got screaming powers!”

“You’re Irish? No way. I’m Irish, too.”
“OMG. This is weird.”
“LOL”
