It being winter, what better way to start than with the coldhearted enemy-turned-ally-turned-instructor Emma Frost? Also, she was played by January Jones in the movie “X-Men First Class” and it’s January. You get it.

This also marks a first-time collaboration between myself and Sky Hawkins, a talented young artist that I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with late last year at an event at our local comic shop, Comic Asylum. Sky had self-published a comic book with other collaborators called “Tokyo Fire” in which he did all the art, start to finish. Sky and I have very different styles, and I really liked his use of color, and I have never had anyone else color my work. So I thought it would be fun to collaborate.
